Acoustic solutions
Floor impact isolation
Footsteps, dragged chairs and dropped objects travel through concrete slabs to the floor below. A resilient layer under the finished floor stops most of it at the source.

Why it matters
Quieter neighbours
Essential in apartments and hotel rooms above living spaces.
Works under any finish
Tile, marble, timber, vinyl or carpet.
Planned with the tiling
Installed as part of the floor build-up, not as an afterthought.
Questions
Questions
Can we add isolation without raising the floor much?
Thin underlays from a few millimetres are available. Floating floors need more height, which we check against door and threshold levels.
Does carpet solve impact noise?
Carpet helps a lot, but under hard finishes like marble an acoustic underlay is needed.
